About this fabric

This colourway in the Modena collection reads as a muted smoke grey with warm beige and taupe movement across the surface, rather than a flat solid. The visible texture has a fine, slightly pebbled character that gives the cloth a gently shaded appearance. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and carries an impressive 80,000 Martindale, making it well suited to hard-working upholstery schemes. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care includes professional dry clean in situ or washable at 40°C, with further instructions available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use Modena Smoke on banquettes, accent chairs or bench seating where the soft grey tone can balance timber, stone and black metal details. It also works well in calm, layered schemes with oatmeal, putty and deeper charcoal accents.

A restrained smoky neutral that sits beautifully on tailored seating and contract schemes.
