About this fabric

This colourway in the Modena collection has a quiet, chalky stone tone with pale beige and oatmeal notes that catch the light softly across the surface. The visible finish looks smooth yet slightly lustrous, with delicate textural striations that give the plain a sense of depth. Made from 100% polyester and rated to 80,000 Martindale, it is a practical contract fabric suited to demanding use. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and the after-care guidance allows professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C, subject to the pattern book instructions.

How to use it

Use Modena Stone on structured upholstery where its warm neutral tone can lift dark timber, bronze, or black metal details. It also pairs well with off-white walls and natural textures when you want a calm contract scheme that still feels polished.

A quietly refined neutral that works beautifully on tailored seating and pared-back schemes.
