About this fabric

This fabric is from the Modena collection by J Brown and is a plain design with a gently clouded surface that catches the light in darker and lighter teal-grey patches. In this colourway, the tone reads muted and cool, with a slightly smoky depth that softens the overall effect. It is made from 100% polyester, specified for contract use, and has a high 80,000 Martindale rating, making it well suited to hard-working interior schemes. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and the aftercare notes allow professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C. The visible finish feels practical and composed, with enough texture to keep the colour from looking flat.

How to use it

Use Modena Teal on banquettes, accent chairs, or ottomans where a deep cool tone will anchor the room. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky neutrals, and brushed metal details for a restrained, tailored look.
