About this fabric

This plain from the Modena collection has a quiet, clouded look, with warm taupe and olive-brown notes shifting as the light moves across the nap. The 100% polyester cloth is specified for contract use and carries an 80,000 Martindale rub test, making it a robust choice for busy schemes. Its back coating to Cigarette & Match to BS5852 adds practical reassurance for upholstery projects, while the washable @ 40°C care option gives extra flexibility. The surface finish appears subtly mottled rather than flat, which helps this colourway soften larger pieces without feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use it on banquettes, occasional chairs or headboards where the muted moss-taupe tone can sit comfortably with oak, linen and brushed metal. It also works well in rooms that need a calm, grounded neutral with a little more depth than a standard beige.

Pair with natural timbers and muted neutrals for an easy, grounded finish.
