About this fabric
This plain from the Mythica collection is made from 100% polyester and is designed for general domestic use, with a 40,000 Martindale rating for everyday wear. The swatch shows a fine, regular weave with a hessian-like texture, giving the colour a dry, tactile look rather than a smooth finish. In this Hessian colourway, the shade sits in a soft taupe-beige range with a muted warmth that helps the weave catch the light gently. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available on request. Professional dry clean in situ is recommended, with further care guidance in the pattern book.
How to use it
Use it on sofas, armchairs or banquettes where you want a neutral that feels relaxed but still tailored. It works especially well with timber, linen and deeper brown or olive accents, letting the texture do the visual work.
