About this fabric

Part of the Mythica collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and is specified for general domestic use. It has a 40,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for seating and other everyday interior projects. The weave appears fine and tightly worked, with a soft, low-light finish that keeps the deep charcoal-black tone looking calm rather than harsh. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can also be professionally dry cleaned in situ, with further care guidance available from the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this dark colourway on a sofa, banquette or headboard where you want a clean, grounded look. It pairs neatly with pale timber, brass accents and warm neutrals to lift the depth of the shade.
