About this fabric

This colourway sits in a true ebony black, with only the faintest softening at the edges where the light catches the surface. The plain design and close, smooth texture give it a restrained, modern look that feels especially sharp in this dark shade. Made from 100% polyester, Odyssey Ebony is specified for contract use and carries a Martindale result of 50,000, making it well suited to demanding upholstery schemes. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and professional dry clean in situ care is advised.

How to use it

Pair this deep black with pale woods, brushed metal and warm neutrals to keep the room from feeling too stark. It works well on sofas, banquettes and statement chairs where the dark tone adds definition and contrast.

Use for tailored seating or contract upholstery where a clean, dark finish is needed.
