About this fabric

This Jane Churchill wallcovering combines muted taupe and cool slate tones, with lighter cream breaks that keep the horizontal pattern airy rather than dense. Irregular, feathery lines run across the design, creating a softly striated effect with subtle changes in depth and colour. It is made from 100% Vinyl - Paper and has an approximate 52cm vertical and 52cm horizontal repeat. The restrained palette and low-contrast movement make this colourway feel calm, textural and quietly contemporary on a wall.

How to use it

Use Slate/Taupe across a bedroom, study or relaxed sitting room where its cool green-grey notes can sit alongside warm taupe, pale timber and chalky neutrals. Hang it on all four walls when you want the broken horizontal lines to read as a soft atmospheric backdrop.

Use this softly weathered slate-and-taupe design to bring calm horizontal movement to walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
