About this fabric

The swatch shows a quiet plain weave in a warm clay taupe, with delicate horizontal and vertical texture rather than a defined motif. At 198 gsm, it has a versatile mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 153 cm useable width allows practical coverage for seating panels, blinds or curtains. With 48.5 threads per cm and no pattern repeat specified, the surface remains calm and continuous, while the subtle tonal variation catches the light softly.

How to use it

Use Ario Clay to bring warmth to pale timber, chalky walls and natural linens, or pair it with deeper brown and rust accents for a grounded scheme. Its muted clay tone works particularly well on relaxed seating and full-length curtains.

A warm, quietly textured neutral for upholstery, curtains and relaxed layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
