About this fabric

The surface is a quiet plain weave, with delicate crosswise and lengthwise threads creating a restrained textile texture rather than a printed motif. Its cool taupe-grey colour reads softly under changing light, balancing grey neutrality with a gentle warm-beige undertone. At 198 gsm and 153 cm usable width, Ario Fog is a versatile mid-weight for both upholstery and drapery. The 48.5 threads per cm construction and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat keep the appearance continuous and uncomplicated.

How to use it

Use Ario Fog to upholster a relaxed occasional chair or sofa in a cool neutral room, or make softly gathered curtains where its taupe-grey tone can temper brighter whites and deeper charcoals.

Its cool taupe-grey tone and fine woven surface suit calm upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
