Ario Fern is a muted olive-green textile with a softly irregular woven surface and very subtle tonal variation. Its restrained fern shade reads earthy and cool rather than bright or yellow.

About this fabric

The plain weave is visible across the swatch as a fine, close texture, with delicate horizontal and vertical shifts that keep the surface from looking flat. At 198 gsm, Ario Fern has a versatile mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 153 cm, while the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm because the design is plain. Its deep fern-olive colour gives the cloth a calm, grounded presence without introducing a separate motif.

How to use it

Use Ario Fern to add a quiet botanical depth to an otherwise neutral room, particularly on a tailored armchair, bench or full-length curtain. Pair the cool olive tone with warm timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass for contrast.

A muted fern-olive plain weave that brings quiet depth to upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
