Brunswick Teal
Archive IV The Collector Fabrics FabricMOF0078-08
Brunswick Teal has a cool, muted teal ground threaded with aqua, sandy beige and tiny warm ochre accents. Its close-up surface is defined by a dense field of small broken chevrons, giving the colourway a softly animated finish rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric
The tightly woven geometric texture shifts between blue-green teal and pale mineral tones as the light catches the short, angled marks. At 710 gsm, this is a substantial fabric with the visual and physical presence suited to upholstery, while its 140 cm usable width supports practical cutting for larger pieces. The pattern is small in scale, and the supplied specification records a 0 cm vertical and horizontal repeat, so there is no large motif to align across the cover. A standard length of 35 metres makes it suitable for coordinated upholstery requirements where this distinctive teal tone is to be used consistently.
How to use it
Use Brunswick Teal on a tailored sofa, lounge chair or footstool to bring cool depth into a room with pale stone walls, natural oak and warm tan leather. Its sandy and ochre flecks also allow it to sit comfortably with brushed brass and textured neutral cushions.
Use this substantial teal weave on a statement chair, sofa or ottoman, pairing it with warm timber and quiet neutral textiles.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Brunswick Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
