Velours Tosca Mer

Velours Tosca FabricM4095-03

Velours Tosca Mer reads as a finely worked blue-green check with a cool, airy feel. The tiny woven squares give the surface a neat, tailored look rather than a broad statement pattern.

About this fabric

Woven in 92% viscose and 8% polyester, this fabric has a smooth, refined handle that suits the close, ordered appearance of the design. The colourway sits between sea blue and teal, with pale ground notes that brighten the pattern and stop it feeling heavy. Its small repeat, approximately V 1.5cm / H 2cm, creates a compact checker effect that looks especially crisp from a short distance. At approximately 138cm wide, it is practical for upholstery projects where you want a smart woven texture with a fresh coastal tone.

How to use it

Use this mer-blue check to lift a compact armchair, ottoman or dining seat with a clean, contemporary edge. It pairs well with pale oak, chalk white and brushed nickel for a cool, disciplined scheme.

A crisp blue-green check that adds freshness to tailored upholstery and relaxed accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
