Velours Tosca Lin

Velours Tosca FabricM4095-02

Velours Tosca Lin is a finely gridded check in soft linen beige and taupe, with a gentle velvety sheen across the surface. The small-scale pattern reads crisp and ordered, but the overall effect stays warm and understated.

About this fabric

Woven in 92% viscose and 8% polyester, this fabric has the fluid look and subtle lustre you expect from a velvet, while still feeling structured enough for seating. The repeat is a neat V 1.5cm / H 2cm approx, creating a compact checkerboard that gives the cloth a tailored, steady rhythm. In this colourway, pale linen beige sits against cooler taupe-brown squares, so the contrast is present but softened rather than sharp. At approx 138cm wide, Velours Tosca Lin offers a versatile cloth for upholstery where a quiet geometric texture is wanted. The √BH fire code and care code Q 8 < T 3 are supplied for specification reference.

How to use it

Use this beige-and-taupe check on a small armchair, banquette, or headboard to introduce pattern without breaking up a calm scheme. It pairs especially well with oak, chalky paint colours and relaxed linen drapery.

A refined neutral that adds texture without competing with other finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
