Voltaire Lin is a softly textured neutral with a quiet sandy-beige tone and a subtle linen-like surface. The colour reads warm and light, with a gentle matte quality that feels refined rather than stark.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale beige ground with a fine woven texture and a faint slubbed look that gives the surface depth without introducing any pattern. The blend of 42% cotton, 38% viscose, 15% polyester and 5% linen helps explain its soft hand and lightly elevated finish, while the 140cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of interior projects. With repeat V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is a true plain that is easy to plan and straightforward to match. The overall effect is warm, understated and polished, sitting comfortably between casual natural linen and a smarter decorative weave.

How to use it

Use this sandy beige as a calm foundation for upholstery, blinds or full-length curtains where you want light and warmth without visual noise. It pairs especially well with oak, parchment whites and deeper brown accents for a layered, tailored interior.

A calm neutral that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Pairs well with

Voltaire Lin is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
