Voltaire FabricM4130-24

Voltaire Curry is a richly warmed gold colourway with a softly textured plain weave and a mellow, earthy sheen. The finish reads more curry and harvest-toned than bright yellow, giving the fabric a grounded warmth.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a deep curry-gold ground with subtle brown undertones and a fine woven texture that catches the light with a gentle, matte-lustrous effect. It is composed of 42% Cotton, 38% Viscose, 15% Polyester and 5% Linen, and the fabric is approximately 140cm wide with a straight repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The blend gives the surface a slightly softened handle and an even, cloth-like appearance rather than a sharp satin shine. Its warm saturation makes it feel substantial and inviting, while the plain look keeps the emphasis on colour and texture.

How to use it

Use Voltaire Curry to bring warmth to upholstered dining chairs, a small sofa or a banquette, especially against dark wood, bronze or tobacco leather. It also works well in layered schemes with chalky neutrals, olive or deep navy, where the curry tone reads rich and tailored.

A warm curry-gold plain weave that adds richness without feeling brash.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
