About this fabric

Across the swatch, ochre-gold shapes sit between charcoal, dove-grey, cream and white forms, creating a broken horizontal landscape effect. Its 127cm vertical repeat and 67cm horizontal repeat give the abstract pattern a confident, medium-scale presence across the cloth. At 30gsm with 80 threads per cm, this is a notably light, finely constructed fabric, making it better suited to drapery than hard-wearing upholstery. The 292cm usable width and 40m standard length are well suited to generous curtain drops and wide window treatments.

How to use it

Use this colourway for full-height curtains where the muted gold can bring warmth without becoming bright, while the charcoal and grey marks connect naturally with stone, taupe or dark timber furnishings. Keep surrounding upholstery relatively quiet so the layered painterly pattern remains the room’s main textural and tonal feature.

A fine, fluid cloth for curtains, with muted ochre-gold brushstrokes balanced by charcoal and soft grey.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
