About this fabric

The swatch shows a tightly packed field of small, vertically aligned lozenges, with fuchsia and mandarin flashes set against indigo, teal, pink and pale ground tones. At 137 cm usable width, the design has a 26 cm vertical repeat and 23.5 cm horizontal repeat, keeping the compact geometry visibly regular across the cloth. At 345 gsm and 84 threads per cm, it has a substantial, closely woven specification suited to upholstery applications. Saturated fuchsia and orange-red accents give the predominantly cool indigo and teal colour mix a lively, high-contrast finish.

How to use it

Use the pale ground and cool indigo-teal notes to balance the brighter fuchsia and mandarin on an occasional chair, ottoman or upholstered headboard. Keep surrounding plains restrained so the small geometric rhythm remains the focal point.

Use its small-scale colour rhythm to enliven a statement chair or ottoman.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
