About this fabric

This colourway shows a bright coquelicot red that sits between scarlet and poppy, with a slightly softened surface rather than a flat, glossy finish. The weave is clearly visible in the image, lending a dry, tactile look that suits the fabric’s 42% cotton, 38% viscose, 15% polyester and 5% linen composition. At approximately 140cm wide and with no repeat to manage, it offers a versatile plain for tailored upholstery or structured drapery. The colour has enough saturation to stand out, but the woven texture keeps it grounded and usable in layered interiors.

How to use it

Use this red to bring warmth and focus to a scheme, especially against chalk white, pale plaster or dark timber. It works well on an accent chair, blind or cushion where the rich coquelicot tone can read as a strong colour statement without feeling overly shiny.

A vivid red with a softly textured weave that feels polished yet practical.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
