Vito Brique

VITO FabricM4160-14

Vito Brique is a richly coloured plain fabric in a deep brick red tone with a softly brushed, matte-looking surface. The colour reads warm and grounded, with subtle variation that gives the swatch depth rather than a flat red finish.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is composed of 100% Polyester FR and is approx. 142cm wide, with no visible repeat in either direction. The swatch shows a dense, fine-textured plain weave that catches the light gently, softening the strong brique tone into a warm, earthy red-brown. Its surface looks smooth and quietly tactile rather than glossy, which helps the colour feel sophisticated and easy to live with. The FR construction and plain pattern make it a practical choice for schemes that need colour without visual noise.

How to use it

Use this deep brick red to warm up upholstered chairs, banquettes or a padded headboard, especially alongside tobacco leather, walnut and aged brass. It also works well as a confident curtain colour where the warm undertone can echo terracotta walls or dark timber finishes.

A rich warm red that brings depth and polish to tailored seating or statement drapery.

Pairs well with

Vito Brique is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
