About this fabric

Frida Grenat from the Tanya collection by Manuel Canovas is a wide 295cm fabric with an approximate vertical repeat of 29cm and horizontal repeat of 22cm. Its composition of 43% Cotton, 34% Viscose, 14% Linen, 7% Acrylic and 2% Polyester gives the surface a dry, textural handle with enough body for practical interior use. Visually, the colourway reads as a dark wine-red with earthy depth, broken by pale cream patterning and slimmer warm ochre lines that keep the design lively rather than flat. The close-set striped layout feels structured and decorative, while the woven texture softens the contrast and adds tactility. Care code Q 8 + W 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Frida Grenat on an armchair, banquette or curtains where the narrow stripe can add movement without overwhelming the room. The grenat tone pairs well with walnut, aged brass and soft ivory for a warm, tailored scheme.

A bold woven stripe that brings warmth and structure to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
