Kita Ciel is a crisp, small-scale geometric fabric with a cool ciel-blue ground and neat contrast detailing. The pattern reads finely structured and quietly lively, with a compact rhythm that gives the cloth a tailored feel.

About this fabric

Woven with a repeating vertical and horizontal rhythm, this colourway combines soft blue with warm beige and darker brown accents for a balanced, airy look. The fabric’s 295cm approximate width and 30cm vertical / 8cm horizontal repeat make it well suited to large-scale furnishing projects where pattern continuity matters. Its blend of 43% cotton, 34% viscose, 14% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester gives the surface a dry, textural handle with a subtle softness in the finish. The overall effect is smart but approachable, with the pale ciel tones keeping the design fresh rather than heavy.

How to use it

Use this colourway on tailored curtains, cushions or a sleek upholstered chair where the small geometric pattern can add structure without overpowering the room. It works especially well with pale timber, stone, and muted tan upholstery, letting the blue read clean and coastal rather than brash.

Pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk white and warm tan leathers for a tailored, modern finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
