About this fabric

Kita Indigo from Manuel Canovas’ Tanya collection is a textile fabric with a generous width of approximately 295cm and a repeat of V 30cm / H 8cm approx. The composition blends 43% cotton, 34% viscose, 14% linen, 7% acrylic and 2% polyester, giving the surface a dry woven handle with a little sheen caught in the lighter threads. Visually, the colourway reads as deep indigo against biscuit, with small navy blocks breaking up the pattern and keeping it lively rather than flat. The result is a smart, structured look that feels tailored and grounded rather than highly decorative.

How to use it

This colourway works well on large curtains or relaxed upholstery where the indigo and tan grid can be seen from a distance. Pair it with natural oak, dark timber or muted stone to bring out the fabric’s cooler blue depth.

Use with pale woods and chalky neutrals to let the indigo flicker stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
