Selma Nuage

Selma FabricM4056-35

Selma Nuage reads as a cool, airy blue with a gently heathered surface and a fine, tactile linen weave. Its overall effect is quiet and clouded rather than bright, giving the colourway a soft, washed clarity.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Selma Nuage has a natural, lightly slubbed texture that adds depth to the pale blue ground. The design has no visible repeat, with vertical and horizontal repeats both shown as 0cm approx, which supports its subtle, all-over texture. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a practical textile for a range of interior uses, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code plus √BM fire code should be noted when specifying. The colour itself sits between sky and grey, with a restrained powdery finish that keeps the fabric feeling composed rather than sugary.

How to use it

Use this colourway to soften tailored upholstery, add freshness to Roman blinds, or bring a cool note to relaxed curtains. It works especially well with whitewashed timber, chalky neutrals, and brushed metal finishes.

A calm powder blue linen that feels fresh and easy in both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
