Selma Ivoire

Selma FabricM4056-04

Selma Ivoire is a quiet, luminous ivory linen with a fine all-over texture that reads softly rather than starkly white. The close-up weave gives the surface a gentle grain and an understated, tailored finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Selma Ivoire has a crisp, natural handle and a subtle slubbed texture that you can see across the whole swatch. The colour sits in a soft ivory cream rather than a bright white, so it feels warm, calm and easy to place in both classic and contemporary schemes. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx and a width of 140cm approx, it is a plain-textured fabric that lends itself to clean upholstery lines as well as relaxed drapery. The restrained finish and pale tone make the surface look quietly tactile, with the weave catching light just enough to add depth without visible pattern movement.

How to use it

Use this ivory shade to soften darker wood, painted trim or deeper linen tones, where its pale warmth will lift the room without feeling cold. It is especially elegant on slim upholstered pieces, layered drapes or loose cushions where the texture can be appreciated up close.

A quietly refined ivory that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
