About this fabric

Chelton Ivory from Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 1 is a drapes-only fabric woven in 57% polyester and 43% cotton. It has a small-scale geometric/abstract pattern with a measured stripe-and-check rhythm, and the 140 cm width makes it well suited to made-to-measure curtains and blinds. The 24 cm vertical repeat and 23 cm horizontal repeat help create the regular, tiled look visible in the swatch, while the 255 gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial, structured hang. In this ivory colourway, the pattern sits close to the surface in a soft, low-contrast finish that feels warm, calm and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Chelton Ivory where you want patterned drapes that still feel light against the window, especially in rooms with limewashed walls, pale woods or muted upholstery. Its soft ivory tone works well with layered neutrals, letting the geometric weave add texture without interrupting a calm scheme.
