Camley Ivory

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1CAMLEY

Camley Ivory shows a gentle ivory ground with a subtle woven geometric texture that reads softly across the surface. The colour is light, warm-leaning and low contrast, so the pattern feels calm rather than busy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Camley Ivory is specified for drapes only and has a useful width of 140cm. Its small-scale pattern, with an 8cm vertical repeat and 6cm horizontal repeat, forms a neat all-over texture that is visible without overpowering the fabric. The surface in this image looks softly matte with a fine raised outline, giving the ivory a slightly dimensional finish. At 329 grams per linear metre and 235 grams per square metre, it has enough substance to hang smoothly while still looking light in colour. Made in India, it is a practical choice where a clean pale neutral is wanted.

How to use it

Use this pale ivory colourway where you want the pattern to disappear into daylight, such as sheers layered with blinds or tailored curtains in a calm neutral scheme. It pairs especially well with natural woods, biscuit upholstery and warm white walls.

A quietly textured ivory that keeps a room feeling light and refined.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Camley Ivory without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
