Burman Platinum

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1BURMAN

Burman Platinum is a softly luminous pale grey with a subtle woven geometric surface. The small-scale pattern sits quietly in the cloth, giving the colourway a refined, lightly textural look.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, misty platinum grey rather than a stark white, with the fine woven motif only becoming apparent as the light catches it. It is made from 100% polyester and is supplied as drapes only, so it is best suited to window treatment rather than upholstery. The design has a small scale repeat of 2 by 2 and a width of 140cm, which supports its neat, orderly appearance. At 316 grams per linear metre and 226 grams per square metre, it has enough substance to hang with body while still keeping the overall effect light and elegant.

How to use it

Use Burman Platinum where you want a soft, polished backdrop that won’t overpower the room, especially with white-painted woodwork, pale oak or brushed metal details. Its cool grey tone works particularly well in schemes that rely on layered neutrals and clean lines.

A crisp pale neutral that keeps a room airy and tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Burman Platinum without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
