Bronte Frost

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Frost is a cool, pared-back plain with a softly frosted grey surface and a subtly linen-like weave. The finish reads light and airy in the swatch, with just enough texture to keep the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 68% Recycled Polyester and 32% Polyester, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm. The cloth has a fine, even texture with no visible pattern repeat, so the interest comes from the quiet crossweave and the gentle shifts in the pale grey tone. In this colourway, the shade sits between silver and mist, giving it a fresh, cool clarity rather than a warm grey cast. At 320gsm, it has a substantial drape that should hang neatly while still feeling refined and understated.

How to use it

Use Bronte Frost where you want curtains to lighten a room without adding obvious colour, especially alongside white paint, pale timber and brushed metal. Its cool grey tone works particularly well in calm bedrooms, reception rooms and minimalist schemes.

A clean pale grey that sits quietly in contemporary schemes and softens light beautifully.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
