Bronte Fog

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Fog is a softly weathered plain in a cool, misty grey that reads calm and understated in the swatch. Its fine woven texture gives the colour a gentle linen-like depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

From the Darwin Collection by Ashley Wilde, Bronte Fog is a plain fabric made from 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester. It is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm, with a substantial 448 grams per linear metre and 320 grams per square metre. In the image, the colour sits in a muted grey range with a faint greenish cast, giving it a cool, fog-bound feel that looks soft rather than stark. The close woven surface shows a subtle crosshatch texture and a lightly mottled appearance that catches the light without any visible pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use this grey in sleek curtains or layered drapery where you want a quiet backdrop with a slightly textural finish. It pairs neatly with pale oak, charcoal accents, and softened stone neutrals.

A calm, versatile grey with a soft weathered look for understated interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
