Bronte Lavender

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Lavender is a cool, softly muted plain with a lavender-grey cast and a fine, linen-like surface. Its low-key texture reads refined and airy rather than bright or floral.

About this fabric

Woven in India, this Ashley Wilde fabric is composed of 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester, with a width of 140cm and a substantial 320gsm handle. The cloth has a subtle crosswise yarn texture that softens the surface and gives the pale lavender tone a gentle, powdery depth. It is specified for drapes only, making it best suited to curtains where the light fabric can fall cleanly and show its quiet, cool colouring. With no horizontal pattern repeat, the plain structure keeps the look calm and contemporary.

How to use it

Use Bronte Lavender for full-length curtains in bedrooms or sitting rooms where a pale, cool tone will temper stronger wall colours. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, soft greys and brushed metallic finishes.

A cool, understated lavender that gives curtains a calm, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
