About this fabric

This fabric from the Alchemy collection by Fryett's Fabrics is 56% Cotton and 44% Polyester, with a 140cm width and a 0cm pattern repeat. The surface reads as a fine, even woven cloth rather than a pile or velvet, giving the design a crisp, tailored feel. In this colourway the ground is a cool, muted mauve with plum depth, while the looping motif is lifted in a lighter taupe-lilac tone that catches the light just enough to define the pattern. It feels contemporary and composed, with enough body for upholstery and enough visual interest for accent pieces.

How to use it

Pair this mauve plum tone with smoked oak, warm grey and brass for a polished scheme. It would also work well on a compact chair or bench where the repeating loop pattern can be read at close range.
