Linara Hollyhock

Linara Fabric

Linara Hollyhock is a quiet, solid mauve textile with a subtle plum depth. The close view reveals a fine, even weave that gives the colour gentle visual movement rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The swatch is an uninterrupted dusty mauve, leaning towards muted plum rather than pink or violet. Its fine woven surface shows a delicate crosshatch of threads, with a soft, low-key texture visible across the face. Light catches the weave gently, keeping the colour composed and understated while adding a little depth. The apparent mid-weight woven construction makes this colourway suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Hollyhock to bring a restrained mauve-plum note to a sitting room, pairing it with chalky cream, mushroom or warm grey. Its subdued saturation also works well with dark wood and brushed metal accents.

Pair the muted mauve-plum ground with warm neutrals, aged timber or softly contrasting berry accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
