Sulis Lavender

Sulis Fabric

Sulis Lavender is a quiet, dusty lavender plain with a softly variegated woven surface. Its close crosshatch texture gives the colour subtle depth, shifting between mauve and cooler violet tones across the swatch.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly woven with fine horizontal and vertical slubs, creating a restrained crosshatch rather than a printed motif. Its muted mauve-lavender colour feels softened and slightly dusky, avoiding the brightness of a clear pastel purple. Light catches the raised threads unevenly, adding gentle tonal movement to the otherwise plain face. The medium-looking texture makes this colourway suitable for either upholstered pieces or softly tailored window treatments.

How to use it

Use Sulis Lavender to add a cool, powdery mauve note to a bedroom, sitting room or reading corner. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and brushed metal so the woven texture remains the main source of depth.

A softly textured mauve-lavender plain that brings gentle colour and tactile depth to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
