About this fabric

This 268gsm fabric has a muted mauve-lilac tone that reads cool, soft and slightly greyed rather than bright or saturated. Pale botanical forms create a low-contrast, softly weathered pattern, while the fine vertical striations give the surface understated depth. The design has a 61 cm vertical repeat and a 142 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the organic pattern to continue broadly across the 143 cm usable width. With 409 threads per cm, it has a closely constructed woven appearance suited to both upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Pair Kengai Mauve with chalky creams, warm pale woods and soft greyed-lilac accents for a restful scheme. Its low-contrast botanical pattern works particularly well on occasional upholstery, relaxed curtains or layered cushions.

Use this softly muted mauve weave to bring gentle botanical movement to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
