Vidi Lilac/ Aubergine/Cornflower

Vidi Lilac/Aubergine/Cornflower combines a pale, cool lilac ground with repeated aubergine and cornflower geometric motifs. Small warm ochre accents add gentle contrast across the visibly textured velvet surface.

About this fabric
The compact pattern is formed from repeating angled and triangular marks, with deeper aubergine shapes sitting against lilac, cornflower blue and soft cream tones. Its 589 gsm weight gives the velvet a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while the close texture softens the contrast between the colours. The usable width is 140 cm, and the pattern repeats every 6 cm vertically and 11.6 cm horizontally. With 66 threads per cm, the closely constructed surface keeps this softly varied colourway visually detailed rather than sparse.
How to use it
Pair this cool lilac and cornflower colourway with chalky neutrals, pale timber or deeper aubergine accents on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair. The small 6 x 11.6 cm repeat works particularly well on shaped upholstery where the directional geometry remains visible.
Use this weighty velvet on upholstery where its cool lilac ground and aubergine geometric accents can be appreciated up close.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Vidi Lilac/ Aubergine/Cornflower without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
