About this fabric

This Harlequin Reflect Velvets colourway is a substantial 589 gsm velvet, suited to upholstery where its dense handle and compact geometric design can be appreciated. The 6 cm vertical and 11.6 cm horizontal repeat forms staggered diagonal bands, with French blue providing a cool counterpoint to the warmer tiger, rust and ochre marks. Taupe keeps the overall impression muted and grounded, while the small ivory highlights lift the pattern across the surface. At 140 cm wide, it offers a generous usable width for upholstery planning, with 66 threads per cm recorded in the specification.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, dining seat or tailored sofa where the taupe base can sit with natural timber and stone, then pick out the French blue or rust in cushions and painted accents.

Use this substantial patterned velvet to bring muted taupe depth, rust warmth and crisp French blue accents to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
