About this fabric

This Harlequin Reflect Velvets colourway has a 498gsm velvet construction and a 140cm usable width, giving it a substantial presence for upholstery. The taupe ground is softened by irregular pale and darker markings, creating a quietly dimensional effect rather than a sharp contrast. Its organic loop motif repeats over 34.2cm vertically and 34.9cm horizontally, with the close pattern reading as textured movement from a distance. Subtle changes in sheen across the pile bring warmth and depth to the otherwise restrained neutral shade.

How to use it

Use Lacuna Taupe on a structured armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm mushroom tone can soften darker wood and complement ivory, clay and aged brass accents. Pair it with plain linens or lightly patterned textiles to let the rippled velvet surface remain the focal texture.
