About this fabric

This 498gsm velvet is densely covered with small, pebble-like marks that create a rhythmic, almost stippled surface in black and warm bronze-gold. Its 140cm usable width makes it practical for upholstery applications where the close pattern can be appreciated across a larger surface. The pattern repeats at 34.2cm vertically and 34.9cm horizontally, giving the design structure without reading as an open or oversized motif. With 66 threads per centimetre, Lacuna Ebony has a substantial, closely constructed appearance suited to richly tailored seating.

How to use it

Use Lacuna Ebony on a statement chair, sofa or headboard, pairing its near-black depth with warm timber, aged brass and softly coloured stone. The bronze-gold flecks will add a restrained glow without losing the dramatic character of the ebony ground.
