About this fabric

This colourway of Belmont Trail Black is woven in 100% linen and has an approximate width of 130cm, with a large vertical repeat of 195cm and horizontal repeat of 130cm. The fabric shows a busy garden scene of birds, branches and flowers, but the black background keeps the composition crisp rather than heavy. Pale pink, cream, peach and teal accents read clearly against the dark ground, giving the design a lifted, decorative contrast. The visible linen weave softens the finish and adds a slightly dry, elegant texture. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it where you want pattern to read as a statement, such as curtains, occasional upholstery or a feature armchair. The black ground works especially well in rooms with warm wood, brass or painted trim, letting the blossom colours glow.

Use it to bring out the blossom colours and metallic-feeling bird tones against the dark ground.
