Belvedere Pink/Green

Ellerdine FabricF4717-03

Belvedere Pink/Green from the Ellerdine collection is a softly layered floral on a pale ground, with pinks, greens and gentle touches of blue and gold. The motif feels airy and decorative, with the linen base giving it a slightly relaxed, natural finish.

About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric has a generous repeat of approximately V 81cm / H 134cm and a width of approximately 134cm, which suits larger-scale pattern placement. The swatch shows a pale ivory ground scattered with painterly blossoms, birds and foliate sprays, all drawn in muted rose, soft sage, duck-egg blue and warm yellow accents. The overall effect is light and fresh rather than bold, with the pinks reading dusty and the greens staying cool and leaflike. With no performance features noted and care code Q 8 + T 3, it is a decorative linen that will suit upholstery or drapery where a romantic, tailored finish is wanted. The √BM fire code is also supplied for specification purposes.

How to use it

This colourway works beautifully with chalky painted wood, pale oak and antique brass, especially in rooms that need a gentle lift without strong contrast. Use it for curtains, a statement chair or blind treatments to let the soft pink and green palette breathe against a light interior.

Use to bring a fresh, romantic lift to classic rooms and relaxed country schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Belvedere Pink/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
