About this fabric

Bucknall Old Blue from the Ellerdine collection is a fabric with a visible woven floral character and a refined, slightly raised texture. Its palette pairs soft blue leaves and stems with pale ivory and grey accents over a creamy ground, creating a fresh but restrained look rather than a strong contrast. The supplied composition is 59% Linen, 29% Viscose, 8% Cotton, 4% Polyester, which suits the fabric’s natural, softly lustrous appearance. With a width of approximately 128cm and a repeat of V 58cm / H 64cm approx, it is designed for a patterned interior application where the trailing motif can be appreciated across a larger surface.

How to use it

Use this blue-on-cream colourway in a bedroom, sitting room or reading nook where you want pattern without heaviness. It works especially well with painted woods, pale oak and faded neutrals, letting the muted blue notes stay airy.

A pale blue floral that feels calm and refined on a warm neutral ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
