About this fabric

Woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen, this fabric has the light, slightly slubbed character that shows up clearly in the soft weave of the swatch. The stripe pattern runs vertically across the cloth with an approximate horizontal repeat of 6cm, and the overall effect is clean, airy and restrained. Its blue reads as a soft powder tone rather than a bright primary, so the stripes feel calm and slightly faded against the natural-looking ground. At 142cm wide, it offers a practical width for curtains, blinds and lighter decorative upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use it where you want a smart stripe that still feels gentle, such as café curtains, tailored blinds or a slim occasional chair. The cool blue keeps the palette fresh alongside chalk white, pale oak and muted grey.

A fresh, tailored stripe that works beautifully on blinds, cushions or relaxed upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Thurloe Stripe Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
