Sackville Yellow is a pale primrose stripe with a quiet, sunlit feel and a finely woven, lightly textured surface. The narrow horizontal pattern reads clean and tailored rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen, this fabric has a smooth handle with the subtle slub and grain you expect from a linen blend. The stripe repeat is very restrained at approximately 1cm horizontally with no vertical repeat, giving the design a calm, orderly look. In this colourway, the yellow is softened with cream so it appears warm and airy rather than saturated or brassy. At approximately 144cm wide and with fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative fabric for schemes that want a gentle wash of colour with a refined finish.

How to use it

Use Sackville Yellow on small-scale upholstery, tailored cushions or relaxed curtains where the soft yellow can lift a room without dominating it. It works especially well with chalk white, pale oak and other muted neutrals.

A gentle yellow stripe that brightens seating or curtains without feeling loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
