Valora Yellow

Eloise FabricF4603-01

Valora Yellow presents as a pale, buttery stripe with a gentle linen texture and a soft sheen in the lighter ground. The creamy motif feels fresh and airy rather than saturated, giving the design an easy daylight warmth.

About this fabric

Woven in 85% Linen and 15% Viscose, Valora Yellow has the relaxed character of linen with just enough viscose to soften the finish and help the cloth drape neatly. The fabric is shown as a vertical striped design with broad yellow bands and slim ivory grounds, each band carrying a delicate white leafy motif that reads clearly against the warm pastel ground. Its repeat is approximately V 20cm / H 34cm, and the 136cm width makes it practical for cutting the stripe cleanly across curtains or upholstery pieces. The overall effect is light, soft and slightly sunny, with the pattern keeping the colourway elegant rather than overtly bold. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This colourway works well in rooms that need warmth without heaviness, especially against white-painted woodwork, pale oak or stone tones. It would suit curtains, blinds or a smart accent chair where the buttery stripe can lift the scheme without overpowering it.

Use for elegant curtains or a tailored occasional chair where the pale yellow keeps the room bright.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Valora Yellow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
