Valora Blue

Eloise FabricF4603-03

Valora Blue presents as a cool striped cloth with a pale icy ground and softly woven blue-grey bands. The leaf motif within each stripe gives the design a gentle, airy rhythm.

About this fabric

Valora Blue from the Eloise collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in 85% linen and 15% viscose, with an approximate width of 136cm and a vertical repeat of 20cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm. In this colourway the stripe reads pale and frosted, with a restrained blue tone that sits closer to misty duck egg than a strong navy or denim. The raised leaf pattern is visible as a delicate tonal contrast, which keeps the design detailed without feeling busy. With no performance features noted and a Q 8 + T 3 care code, it is best considered for decorative interiors where a tailored but light-handed look is wanted.

How to use it

Use Valora Blue where you want a room to feel calm, bright and slightly formal, especially against white paintwork, bleached wood or polished chrome. It would suit curtains, blinds or a neat upholstered accent piece that benefits from the fabric’s cool, striped structure.

A cool, refined stripe that feels fresh and elegant on curtains or light upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
