About this fabric

Woven in 68% linen and 32% viscose, this fabric has the natural, slightly dry look of linen with a smoother finish from the viscose content. The Old Blue colourway reads as a soft aqua-leaning blue-green, cooled down enough to feel airy but warmed by the pale taupe and cream threads in the leaf trail. Its repeating vine and leaf motif has a measured 38cm vertical and 64cm horizontal repeat, giving the pattern a balanced, decorative rhythm across the width. At 128cm wide, it offers useful scale for curtains, loose covers, or upholstered accent pieces where the pattern can be seen clearly. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a light, restful feel with a little heritage character, especially alongside oak, chalk paint, or washed neutrals. The soft blue-green ground and warm detail also sit beautifully with pale stone, gilt, and muted botanical accents.

A calm blue-green with warm embroidery that lifts easily into classic or contemporary rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Oakham Linen Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
