About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this Erskine Wools plaid has an approximate vertical repeat of 24cm and horizontal repeat of 21cm, with a width of around 151cm. The colourway balances dusty sage green panels with fine red and burgundy striping, softened by cream pinlines that keep the check readable without making it bright. It feels grounded and heritage-led, with the wool surface adding a subtle grain that suits the traditional tartan look. The square layout and mid-scale repeat give it enough presence for statement pieces while still feeling disciplined and tailored.

How to use it

Use it on a wing chair, ottoman or cushion arrangement where the green ground can read as calm and the red lines add warmth. It would also work well at the window in a study or country sitting room, especially beside aged wood, brass and natural linens.
