About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this fabric has a dry, lightly brushed look that suits the relaxed geometry of the plaid. The design repeats at approx. V 11.5cm / H 12cm on a width of approx. 138cm, giving the check a balanced, mid-scale presence on upholstery or curtains. In this beige colourway, the background reads as mellow and earthy rather than pale or cool, while the slim crossing stripes add a subtle heritage note. The overall effect is smart but easygoing, with enough structure for tailored pieces and enough softness for layered rooms.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, window seat or simple curtains where the warm beige ground can soften timber, stone and painted joinery. It pairs especially well with oatmeal, aged wood and muted blue accents for a classic country look.

A warm, understated check that brings tailored softness to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
