Fen Beige

Fen Wools FabricF4637-01

Fen Beige is a warm, quietly textured beige with a fine herringbone effect that reads softly across the surface. The tone feels calm and natural, with just enough contrast in the weave to give the cloth depth.

About this fabric

Fen Beige from the Fen Wools collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a subtle diagonal herringbone weave and a calm, sandy beige ground. The cloth is made from 40% Wool, 20% Cotton, 18% Viscose, 16% Linen and 6% Polyester, giving it a grounded, softly napped character rather than a flat finish. At approximately 138cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for larger upholstery and furnishing projects, while the repeat is a neat V 0cm / H 1cm approx. The colourway sits in a warm neutral register, with a gentle biscuit undertone that catches the light without looking pale or chalky.

How to use it

Use Fen Beige where you want an easy, unforced neutral that won’t overpower timber, stone or painted joinery. Its muted warmth works especially well with oatmeal linens, aged brass and deeper brown accents.

A soft neutral that sits quietly on upholstery and still drapes neatly for curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
